IMPORTANT SUMMER 2019 EXAM INFORMATION FROM JCQ 

Should an awarding body need to change the date of any exam and therefore invoke its contingency plan, all students must remain available until end of day Wednesday 26 June 2019 

Important dates for yr.10:

  • 15th May - Sport Studies exam - R051 Contemporary Issue in Sport - 1hr - 9am
  • 18th June - Hospitality & Catering exam - Unit 1 - 1hr 30 - 9am

Important dates for yr.11:

  •  6th November     - NCFE Level 2 Food & Cookery exam - 6th Form Hall - Timings TBC
  • 22nd November  - Mock Exams Begin
  • 5th December     - Mock Exams End
  • 11th February     - Summer exam entries will go out to all yr.11 students for checking purposes
  • 14th February     - Deadline for any concerns regarding Summer Entries to be given to Mrs Oakley
  • 27th February    -  Mock Exams Begin
  • 1st March          -   Mock Exams End
  • 13th May           -   First day of GCSE exams - Sports Hall
  • 25th June          -   Last day of GCSE exams 

Results Day 2019:

Thursday 22nd August - collection between 9 & 11

If you are unable to collect your results in person, please download, complete and return the GCSE Results Collection Form to Mrs Oakley. Please ask whomever is collecting your results, on your behalf, to bring photo ID with them on the day.

 

 

 

Important dates for yr.12 & yr.13

The Yr.13 mock exams will take place from Monday 21st to Thursday 24th January. Please click HERE for the timetable.

  • 1st October    -        Yr.13 Deadline for University Entrance Exams - Please see Mrs  Oakley before this date if you wish to be entered.
  • 4th October   -         Yr12 & Yr13 Deadline for English & Maths re-sits - Please see Mrs Oakley before this date if you wish to be entered.
  • 31st October  -       University Entrance Exam take place in the 6th Form Hall, please arrive by 8.30am
  • 5th November -      GCSE English Language exam paper 1 - 1 hr 45 minutes. Start time 9am please arrive by 8.30, room TBC
  • 6th November -      GCSE Mathematics exam  paper 1 - 1 hr 30 minutes . Start time 9am please arrive by 8.30, room TBC
  • 7th November -      GCSE English Language exam paper 2 - 1 hr 45 minutes. Start time 9am please arrive by 8.30, room TBC
  • 8th November -      GCSE Mathematics exam  paper 2 - 1 hr 30 minutes . Start time 9am please arrive by 8.30, room TBC
  • 12th November -    GCSE Mathematics exam  paper 3 - 1 hr 30 minutes . Start time 9am please arrive by 8.30, room TBC
  • 29th November -    GCSE Certificate Evening
  • 21st January     -    Yr 13 Internal Exams week begins - 6th Form Hall
  • 21st January     -    Yr 12 ICT BTEC exam Unit 1 31760H - Time & Room TBC
  • 11th February  -     Summer exam entries will go out to all yr.11 students for checking purposes
  • 14th February  -     Deadline for any concerns regarding Summer Entries to be given to Mrs Oakley
  • 7th May            -      Yr 12 Internal Exam week begins - 6th Form Hall
